By accessing or using Wordverse (the "Site"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site.
1. Free Tools Provided As-Is
All tools, features, and content on Wordverse are provided free of charge and on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Wordverse makes no guarantee that the tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce results that meet any specific standard.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wordverse disclaims all warranties including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
2. Word Dictionary Accuracy
The word dictionary used by Wordverse tools is curated to cover common English vocabulary and words valid in popular word games. However, no dictionary is exhaustive or infallible. Wordverse does not guarantee that:
- Every valid English word is included in the dictionary
- Every word in the dictionary is accepted by every word game
- Word definitions, if provided, are complete or current
- The dictionary reflects the most recent updates to any official word list
If you are playing in a competitive word game setting, always verify disputed words against the official dictionary for that specific game. Wordverse results should be used as a helpful guide, not as an authoritative ruling.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use Wordverse tools for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Site at a volume or rate that could impair its availability to other users
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the Site or any connected system for vulnerabilities
- Misrepresent the output of Wordverse tools as authoritative in contexts where accuracy is critical (e.g., legal, medical, or academic certification)
- Use the tools to generate content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
4. Intellectual Property
The Wordverse name, site design, and original content are the property of Wordverse. The word dictionary used by the tools is compiled from publicly available word lists. You retain all rights to any text you input into the tools — Wordverse claims no ownership over your content, and since all processing happens in your browser, your text never reaches our systems.
5. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. Wordverse is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites. Following a link to a third-party site means you are subject to that site's terms and privacy policy, not ours.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Wordverse, its operators, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its tools. This limitation applies regardless of whether such damages are based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
7. Availability and Changes
Wordverse reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or feature at any time without prior notice. We aim to keep the site available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, technical updates, or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily affect availability.
Wordverse also reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the governing jurisdiction.
