Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 29, 2026

Wordverse is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and why our approach to privacy is fundamentally different from most websites you visit.

The Short Version

Wordverse does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All text you enter into our tools stays in your browser. There are no user accounts, no cookies, no third-party analytics trackers, and no advertising networks. You can use every tool on the site completely anonymously.

No User Accounts

Wordverse does not require or offer user accounts. There is no registration form, no email verification, and no password to manage. Every tool is available immediately upon visiting the page. Because we have no accounts, we have no personal information to store, protect, or potentially expose in a data breach.

All Processing Happens in Your Browser

This is the most important point in this policy. When you type or paste text into the Word Counter, enter letters into the Word Unscrambler, or use any other tool on Wordverse, all computation happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your text is never sent to a server operated by Wordverse or any third party.

The word dictionary that powers the unscrambler, anagram solver, and random word generator is loaded into your browser when you visit the site. All dictionary lookups happen locally. This design choice means the tools work quickly and remain functional even on slow or intermittent connections, and it means your input never leaves your device.

What We Store: Theme Preference Only

The only data Wordverse stores is your theme preference (light mode or dark mode). This is saved in your browser's localStorage so that the site appears in your preferred theme on subsequent visits. This data is stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or by toggling the theme.

No Cookies

Wordverse does not set any cookies — neither first-party cookies nor third-party cookies. There are no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no analytics cookies. You will not see a cookie consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

No Third-Party Analytics

Wordverse does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising service. We do not track which pages you visit, how long you stay, where you came from, or any other behavioral metric. We have no interest in building profiles of our visitors or selling attention to advertisers.

No Data Sharing

Since we collect no data, there is no data to share. Wordverse will never sell, rent, trade, or otherwise provide information about its visitors to any third party.

Hosting and Infrastructure

Wordverse is a static site, meaning pages are pre-built and served as simple files. When you load a page, your browser makes a standard HTTP request to the hosting provider. The hosting provider may log standard server access information such as IP address, timestamp, and requested URL as part of normal web server operation. These logs are managed by the hosting provider under their own privacy policy and are not accessible to or controlled by Wordverse.

Children's Privacy

Wordverse tools are suitable for users of all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information from any user, we do not collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or any other age). The site complies with the principles of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by virtue of collecting nothing.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Given that the site collects no data, significant changes to this policy are unlikely. Any changes would be limited to clarifying language or reflecting changes in how the site is hosted.
